But whos been the most profound bottler this season Spurs Manu Liverpool Chelsea And i guess.you can also count us and man city but on a lesser note imo
Out of that lot, United for sure. Only English club this season to lose all five competitions they were in. Fucked up an 8 point lead with 6 games to go. Got knocked out of the Champions League by Basel when they only needed a draw.
We are big contenders for this award to be honest. We had many opportunities to sew up third place and if it wasn't for the incompetence of our rivals we would be singing the blues right now. Don't get me wrong though I'm happy as a pig in **** that we made it!!!!!!!!
Spurs were 13 points ahead of us before we demolished them 5-2 in the NLD. I take particular pride in being there to watch the game that was the catalyst for them bottling it big time
In the end the bottlers awards go to : 1) Spurs 2) Man Utd I would place us 3rd - but fortunately that matches our league position as it does for Utd. Unfortunately for Spurs it doesnt match for them.
Yeah I was there too. Still can't forget the turn around in walcotts performance. One minute a villain...a hero the next..How fickle our fans tend to be! Hopefully Ramsey can pull off something similar..I know he has it in him!
I don't understand this 'bottling it' stuff. Are you saying Spurs are objectively a better team than Arsenal and Utd are better than City but both finished the other way round due to some sort of character defect? I would have thought that City had far and away the best squad in the division, and came close to bottling it. Chelsea had the second best squad and bottled it big time, and Utd, Arsenal and Spurs all finished above where they were expected to. Personally I think Spurs have a slightly better squad than Arsenal, but a far inferior manager and we should expect to be very close for the next few seasons.
Think its just a bit of fun really. No doubt that Spurs royally ****ed it up this year... every 5 years or so you get a chance to finish above us and you keep ****ing it up. This year it was fulopgate, and previously we had lasagnegate.
The thing is I still won't say it was a good season for Walcott. People here have lowered their standards but 1 decent game every 6-7 games isn't something to be commended for a regular starter in a top 4 club. Sent from a mobile device.
It was very frustrating and nervy match, but we once again finish above Spurs which made it all worthwhile. '94-'95 season must feel like a LONG time ago for Spurs fans!
Only one team really stands out for me and that is Spurs. They had a 13 point lead slip and fell below Arsenal, who have had one of it's worst seasons under Wenger. Neither have Man U, Chelsea or Livepool bottled it. I think all the top teams apart from Man City and Spurs have played played quite dreadfully and carried injuries for long periods.
BOTTLERS?????????????? We've won the FA cup and are in the final of the champs league! You lot on the other hand have won **** all!
you certainly had a hand from the WBA keeper, I thought Turnbull was awful but f**k me?????????????????????
