I think we can all agree that Top 4 is imperative but I honestly believe we are easily the 3rd best team in England atm. So if you could have 3 wishes to do with Football or Signings(no wish to get Rafa out and Pep in for example) what would it be? Mine: 1. Top 3 2. Europa League Title 3. Sign Falcao
Top 3 should be the main aim and see what happens from there. I'm getting less convinced that Falcao will happen as the weeks go by now.
From what I heard the deal is almost certain to happen but Roman wants him in January but Athletico and him want to finish the season and move clubs in the Summer.
Top 3. But given the position were in I'd be disappointed if we couldn't win the Carling Cup. I think 3rd, Carling Cup, Europa League QF are realistic aims. FA Cup always depends on luck of the draw but were more than capable of beating any team in the county home or away. I'd love a return to Wembley one way or another. This team has fantastic potential but we are a couple of players shy, we need to slightly rebuild given the expected departures in the summer. Cole has to stay, if Luiz comes to the fore in that midfield I feel Lampard is needed less but wouldn't mind keeping him on in a coaching role.
I agree love the Wembley occasion but it's vital we get Top 3/4 for CL football to convince players/manager to sign for us.
The way things are going I'd say PL at least 3rd, Capital One cup winners, Europa ?? at least finalists! FA Cup in the lap of the Gods!
im not Athletico need to sell the only clubs intrested significantly are Chelsea and Real Madrid and we all know Athletico will never sell to Real.
