Sadly, with Warnock having received no backing to build a proper promotion chasing squad to date and unlikely to get any until January, our season could well run out of steam shortly. Recent results poor, scrapping for odd point here and there, only exception being the thrashing of saints reserves. There is no chance of our current squad catching top two teams in division and unless we gather at least four points this week, the play off spots will also be a long way off.
Easy to see why new owners are having to take their time, having to sift through the thirty or so companies tied into Leeds in search of skeletons. I wonder though, do they realise by the time they give Warnock cash, it may well be too late for this season. Perhaps they don't care and are happy to wait and do the rebuilding during the summer. Frustrating thing is, maybe two class signings and a returning Rosco, hopefully soon, could be all we need. Hopefully some ****er will put his hand in his pocket soon and give Warnock a hand rather than wail till were out of touch with promotion chasers

The fact this is dragging on and they seem in no rush to get it done could be a blessing in disguise. It shows they are patient enough to make sure things are done properly. This could mean they take the same stance on football, understanding that it takes time to properly build a robust team capable of going places. Expect a 5 year plan when the take over finally goes through

    This <applause>

Let's stop this one-year plan stuff that inevitably fails. It's time to take a longer term look at the club and build it from within in the way Swansea have done. You see the way they played yesterday?

We are in our current position because everyone demands instant success which will cost shedloads, while if we had built slowly when we got relegated however many seasons ago that was, there is every chance we would be well-established in the Prem by now

Fail to see the relevance of the date. The T/O will happen when its ready, which should now be comfortably before the T/W opens. So long as we're there or thereabouts when the T/O's done & the T/W opens, we will finally start putting some pressure on those above us. Keep the faith

I have stated all along that we have very little chance of promotion in the next 9 games we play all THE TOP 4 CLUBSthe other 2 we lost to one and drew with the other so unless we drastically improve we will be out of it by Christmas

From what I have seen (games v Brighton and Sheff Wed) your season will be far from over by 19th December - in fact, I'd go as far as saying you'll be scrapping till the very end or at least until it is mathematically impossible to catch the team in 22nd - probably mid April <ok>

The relevance of the date is the Chelsea match. Agree with sheldon that a long term view may be the way to go. That long term view however also involves holding on to your best young players like Byram. Therefore it'll be interesting to see if we can change habits of last few seasons of selling off our talent. Otherwise there is no chance of building anything

As I've said previously whilst it would be nice to have a bit of cash injection for new players, the club itself, should be profitable enough for us to be able to fund some decent signings without having to offload our better players.

We just need to have a board/chairman that doesn't use the club to fund part of their lifestyle, IF we can get that, then success will hopefully follow whenever its meant to be, we just need to ensure that we dont go backwards

Surely your out-of-the-box penalties will see you through? ;)

Nahh, I wouldn't write yourselves off just yet, as much as I despise L**ds, you have an annoying knack of being in amongst the outer reaches of the play offs, messing it up for other Clubs. You'll still be in with a shout, just not as strongly as you'd have hoped being a massive Club and all <whistle>

If GFHC and David Haigh have any nous at all, job one will be getting the fans on their side. First point of achieving job one will be telling any bidders to stick their bids for our players where the sun doesn't shine in January. Second point will be to finally prove once and for all that "sell to buy" is what tin pot clubs do, not Leeds United.

Just trying to reciprocate the love we feel from the 'Wall fans on our board every day.

So the best way to get to the New Den using the tube is to go to Surrey Quays station?

South Berm on national rail is the nearest station Jonny, Surrey Quays is on overground and only about a 15 min walk <ok>

I go for a beer in the hobgoblin opposite new cross gate station which is on overground & on national rail as well. <ok>
