Snap - I totally disagree on Colwill.

He was pathetic waiting for things to happen around him rather than making things happen.

Blaming those around him is as old as the hills - that's when you step up and become the man.

I also think Colwill is a luxury we can't afford in a game where it's survival of the toughest.

Robertson is his equal or better in skill terms but is better suited to a game of little space and where the boots are flying. Ebou Adams will really fancy his chances if Colwill is in our starting eleven on Saturday.

While I agree Colwill had a hand in our first goal last night by putting in a couple of good challenges on the edge of their box before the ball broke to Willock, he did little else constructively on what was a difficult, lumpy pitch.

He is more suited to an open game where the ball can be moved quickly if (as I have said before) he gets his head up and looks for the pass, instead of trying to beat a second player or the first player a second time.

He can be a very useful sub once a game opens up after an hour or so.

I’m with you on Colwill last night but not on him being subbed. We were losing, something different was needed and as I mentioned above the introduction of Salech and El Ghazi were pivotal to us getting a point.

But if not for Turnbull getting injured would Riza have put Chambers in central midfield where’s he been a revelation and Robinson starting and hit a decent vein of form?

ps Did anyone spot the similarity with Robinson’s red card incident v Coventry with the smack he got in the face from a Millwall defender in the first half?

You could call it a planned move or just a happy coincidence depending on your opinion ninion........<laugh>

The fact is we don't have an effective No.10 without Ramsey or Turnbull - and that includes Colwill. Willock has been tried (and failed) and Robbo suggested for but neither are ideal.

Moving Robertson forward has allowed Chambers to act as No.6 - and an extremely effect one too. Robertson is not a natural No.10 and Ralls, Siopis and Rinomohta are effectively stoppers anyway. The natural option has therefore been Colwill which could have been his big chance to shine - but for me he hasn't taken it at all.

As said elsewhere, Sellech up top with Robbo playing off and behind him is a good shout.

...........and yes, I did see that Millwall swinging arm that was as bad as Robbos "red card" but went totally unpunished - shocking inconsistency.

From memory I don't think Webb ever gives us anything. I haven't checked his history but I don't recall anything positive.

In fairness Ding Dong was broadly okay last Saturday but usually "Sh1t refs, we only get sh1t refs!!!".
