    Shocked! Their chairman said yesterday that he wasnt going anywhere and today they replace him. I know he was one of the managers City looked at when johnson left the club who at the time was not interested in leaving donny.

    Now that he is free and Millen is on the brink of being sacked i wonder what the chances of us getting him as i think he would be a good choice as his tactics have worked at donny as they have stayed up on a limited budget and like to score goals

    Calm down calm down calm down.............. they havent actually sacked him........yet. . . . JUST GIVEN HIM A BREATHER, BUT IT DOES OPEN THE WAY for approach's............We have a manager at the moment, so he is of no interest to us.
    In any case should we ever be managerless and he was available, he wouldnt be my choice.

    Sean O'Driscoll did well at Bournmouth and Doncaster,he ticks all the right boxes from experience to good football,economics to structure,so with him,Jones,Davies and Curbishley available,Sexstone got plenty of choice if he doesn't dither...

    Given O'Driscroll a break? They've appointed Dean Saunders on a 3 year deal! If Millen was given the push I'd have O'Driscroll down here for sure, loves to play football the way it should be played.

    I said O'Driscoll for us long before he went to Donny..........Preferable to Jones but I'd still rather have Billy Davies from those who might consider us as an employer

    Straight to the point,there are three excellent managers to choose from.

    SOD, BILLY DAVIES,DAVE JONES all in a different league to millen.the board havea excellent choice,go get us a good manager.

    NEWS FLASH I heard this am was he was being given gardening leave, and a temporary appointment for..????... went into the brynglass tunnel....heardnowt else that was 0750 this am

    He may well be worth considering, has the right vision for good football, something we've been lacking since the playoff season.

    Would he do a better job than Keef........???

    alledgedly having lost the dressing room and the players respect he has been put in the background..is much appreciated by the board though..do we need another has been,
    if the occassion came up....

    he is on gardening leave same as the inter milan ex manager is on gardening leave. It seems to be a thing clubs do now. Instead of paying one lump sum and getting rid of a manager they now put them on gardening leave and pay their normal wages until a club comes in and takes that manager off their hands.
