I'd like us to do a newcastle and find a non-league electrician who's got premiership potential, or a fulham, finding a young centre back we sell on to man utd for millyaaaans.

Err sorry to put a dampner on it but isn't every manager looking to "strenghten his squad"?

Sean Dyche certainly has bags of cash to spend if Baz is to be believed. If the "I have increased the playing budget by 30% comment is true" then last year's £10m playing budget (incl Ellington, Sadler and Graham) will have to be £13m.

The players OUT column totals up to a reduction in wages of at least £2.5m. So it might make sense that the wagebill was £7.5m before the acquisitions of the 5 newbies. Those 5 will definitely have fitted into the reduction so far, with a comfortable margin IMO. As for transfer fees, Dyche has committed approx £500k + 2 Frees, and has at least £500k spare IMO.

So if Baz is true to his word, Dyche has plenty of funds to play with. Let's see what happens ......

Yes, you're right of course Elixir, but SD doesn't just want to strengthen his squad, he's saying he working hard on doing it...which has a slightly different ring to it...

Yes you're right, there has been plenty of cash flowing into the club from the sales of the Graham and Buckley, the release of MM and staff and the Ashley Young sell on clause. It is a simple question of where this cash goes and how much of it can Dyche benefit from?

Dyche did say he wouldn't be spending £3.5m, despite getting that for Danny, so i guess he's budgetting less than that...

I think he is on the look out but doesnt want clubs to know we have a bit of spare readies as we will get really stuffed. Coming out and saying lower league gems means we won't pay over the odds.

Sensible manager and I expect another couple of singings in the next few weeks.
