I hope our expectations arn't too high after last week, but I can see an away win on the cards. Shame Beavon is out but McClure seems to know where the net is!

McClure's first start as well - so with luck he can follow the long list (8 now?) of scorers on their first start.

Looks like we'll have to do it the hard way, 1-0 down after 5 min! :-(

Hi Rocky, Just read your posting on the Preston board, "Stuff the scum " indeed. Dont like to gloat but a 3-0 win looks better than a 4-1 defeat.

Think I'd settle for a draw at your place Rocky. Thought after last weeks performance you would have been good for a result at Scunny.
Could be time to get the prayer mats out.

we need more than prayer mats monarch.i dont know how waddock has kept his job when we have been down the bottom all season and have had embarrasing results on a regular basis.its a pity he couldnt be put on gardening leave and let gareth ainsworth take over until the end of the season he couldnt do any worse

hayes may be relatively non-existant but i expect if we lose against orient and colchester (making it 6 defeats in 7) i think he would go

watching the highlights, the goals were yet another defensive nightmare! dont know what happened to doherty today, but the same defence as last week fell to pieces. the loanee's were the main reason for our win yesterday, but ive heard they were poor today. the goal was set up by ainsworth and scored by mcclure, so we dont completely rely on loans!

yes i saw the goals the defence were all over the place as usual.nice to see mcclure get his first league goal for us but apart from that nothing else to be proud of.

I see Waddock, is spouting the usual cr*p about changing the team, just like his rant after Bournemouth but he changed very little then and we lost 6-0 to Huddersfield.

The goals we conceded were shockers again. It's alway 10 massive steps backwards after we take a step forward and it's not good enough. I can't believe I let myself get sucked back into being optimistic last week as I should've known it would only get backed up by another shambles. No back to back wins all season says it all.

I've mostly been on the fence so far, but I think we have to act now and replace Waddock with Martin Allen before Tranmere or another struggling team snaps him up. He is the only manager out there who could make a difference and is a realistic option. I'm not saying bringing him in will definitely save us, but it will instil some fight and passion which is something we've lacked pretty much all season. We need to take a gamble to give ourselves a chance.
