I don't give us much of a hope with our away form and their excellent home form. However, if Ward sticks with the tactics and motivation that delivered one of the best performances of the season against Burton, then we might pick up a point. Thoughts?
will be tough. however after recent results for us, i believe the players are really up for this. confidence is gaining and the fact that nearly all players are back, competition for places itself is causing improvements. a lot of players out of contract and wanting to prove themselves to ward or other managers like clarkson for example. i hope scunny with think we will sit back and defend all night but we go up there and go for it. nothing to lose. were clear of the bottom. if we go for it then i think we could shock scunny. sit back and wait for scunny to break us down could be a mistake. we cant afford to lose by a high margain like pompey did at the weekend. that would harm the players confidence.
