Well, it's do or die for these two Red Bull youngsters Daniel Ricciardo and Jean-Eric Vergne who are now entering their second full seasons in Formula as Toro Rosso, known for a relentless push to find the next great, young driver could oust one of them to make way for uprising (albeit IMHO kinda overrated) talent Antonio Felix Da Costa.

Not likely. The purple on Red Bull is due to being sponsored by Infiniti, and while STR are apart of the Red Bull family, they're not sponsored by Infiniti.

Nose seems a bit high and steep, there was a bit of speculation from Scarbs (wasn't till a guy on F1Fanatic mentioned it that I remembered it) about Ferrari exploiting a possible loophole like this, wonder if STR has endeavoured to do the same:

Nice car.

 

There's a line on the side of the nose cone which looks like being where the extended vanity panel joins the crash structure nose, so I think Scarbs has called it right. Neat interpretation, it'll be interesting to see if anyone else copies it.

 

Pretty good looking car, all we can say so far really. Front wing looks quite complex for a Toro Rosso in my opinion.

One thing I'm concerned about though is the name. Ferrari got in a pickle when they wanted to name their car F150 in 2011. This year's Toro Rosso shares its name with the SRT8 models from Dodge.

I really hope it doesn't turn into a pathetic legal debate like last time. It was completely unnecessary, and made Ford look complete like fools. Dodge can't seriously consider it if they pick up on it

 

Dodge won't have much to go on; it's car is called the SRT8 but this Toro Rosso is called the STR8. Consider Dodge lawyered!
