Joe Cole is saying he couldn't perform well at Liverpool because he wasn't passionate about the club.

In other words he chose to accept a Mega salary while not trying his hardest because he didn't consider us worthy of his effort.

I'm sure (since you found that excerpt) that you also found the Video footage where he talks ****e about how great we are that included that "out of context" quote. It wasn't taken out of context at all.

Why he feels the need to back track on throw away bullshit comments all players make when joining new clubs I don't know. Only sad bastards take him seriously then or now. Imagine if Robbie Keane tried to backtrack & slag all those clubs he supported since a boy
