That still wouldn't be enough to keep us up if I'm honest. Fine article though.

    ?!

Optimism, my friend, is the key!

    We shall not be moved!

I've put a £100 bet on us staying up, the odds weren't even that good but I wanted to make a statement of faith!

Glass half-full and all that indeed, but from a purely logical point of view the 5/2 on us to go down is superb value right now.

    ????
If we as supporters of the club are advocating this what right do we have to be in the premiership? Bottomless glass?!

Double-edged sword all this though, isn't it?

As futile as it may be, all football fans have every right to moan, and for the most part, bloody good reason to as well. In the weeks pre-season, this intensifies to off-set the long drab matchless weekends. That's normal.

But at QPR we've had more reason than most to moan over the past ten years or so. Won't bore you by going back over miles of old ground, but when the world's richest club achieves the heights on a shoestring, avoids a 15 point deduction on the back of an 'official' attempt to deceive the fans, hikes the ticket prices and then promises minimal investment to bolster a clearly inadequate team, what do we expect of ourselves? Jumping for joy at the King's new clothes? Or facing facts and questioning why the old twat's strutting the streets bollock naked?

Personally, I'm like most of you. I jump for joy when we score, win and get promoted. I'll occasionally make do with a draw. Anything less will definitely get a moan; but seeing my club cynically abducted by a set of short-sighted, parasitic Goons and leaving us with the prospect of instant relegation makes my cool central European blood boil!

So, thanks for the read Robert: you keep blogging away but I'll have to pass on this one. This June is nothing like last year. Last June was about a vague hope, whilst this is more like a series of complete downers in the midst of the highest high.

On this performance I reserve the right to moan, groan and yell 'thief' all I like; and fully intend to continue doing so until either normal service is resumed, or I get so bored with it all that I just put up and shut up - and content myself with probable relegation and all that follows it.
