All wummery and whitabootery aside ; which I know wont last for long ; but what really is the score with rangers scouting system and the supposed conveyer belt of talent that murray park was going to deliver ? Maybe you rangers-mind chaps dont see these areas as a failure...but I remember thinking that rangers had stolen a march ( no pun intended ) on celtic when they set up murray park. Nothing very spectacular or rewarding seems to have emerged from it ; happy to be corrected on this, Im no expert on the ins and outs of the rangers team. The scouting system seems similarly moribund.... has it done much in the way of unearthing youngish talent from elsewhere that is going to develop and have increased sell-on value ? I was wondering if these parts of the club kind of died on the vine as walter smith was never seen as a manager who went down that road much ?
maybe if McCoist played them you would see the talent!! Ness, Hutton, Perry, Wylde, Hemmings, McMillan all good players in my opinion then you've got McGregor, ehhh and....<fleck>
Hemmings is absolutely ****e Ness, Alan Hutton, Wylde and Wilson have been the best players to come through Murray Park, although not sure if Hutton should count
