We all that we have an avid scouter in the ranks, which has got me thinking about the scouting set-up we have going on at Charlton...

Danny Green's haircut on Saturday was a bit racialist, and so I propose we sack the entire scouting team in favour of one special individual.

Take a step forward Robert Baden Powell (1847-1941) who is accredited for the rise of scouting. The man is clearly an old-time expert on these such things (The first book on the Scout Movement, Baden-Powell's 'Scouting for Boys' was published in six instalments in 1908, and has sold approximately 150 million copies as the fourth best-selling book of the 20th century.), and would no doubt provide Chris Powell with a few nuggets of wisdom. He would also make sure that our players were smart, with pulled up socks and colourful scarf's. Did I mention that he had a moustache?!

It is quite clear the chap has an eye for youth, and will probably be scouting out his boys brigade for future players. Not only that, but then we could also hire Steve McClaren to assist him and his woggle.

    What do you all think?

His user name tells you what he's been taking, thinking about it though, do cub and scout groups have football teams, if so they might be worth looking at for players for the academy setup, as cubs and scouts are taught to respect people and help old ladies into the road etc, which is a very different and much better sort of person than the usual flash footballer waving his willy around in a nightclub and fighting taxis.

Think we should look at the Army and Navy for some players, heard they have some good skillz!

Glovepup, i think they at bit busy in the ME, though. I recommended one of my players to the club who has now been taken on for 12 months in the under 12 age group.

We don't need LBP (Lord Baden Powell). We have BWP. The only other man known by his initials. Mind you LBP would be of great help to the yoff f today. In the early days boys were taught to use the Lewis Machine gun and other things useful to being a boy. Still why do that when you can burn down your local area and then complain of a lack of places to go and things to do!

Sorry I forgot JA and JC Proves that being known by initials only can be good or bad. By the way I am not a number!
