Its easier said than done to be honest and doesn't guarantee anything. Newcastle have been doing well with scouting but we've been lucky as much as other things, no-one can really say with certainty how well a player will do when they move. It does seem to be a weakness for you guys but not something which O'Neill has a great record of either really - i really rate him as a manager but his signings have mosty looked functional to me rather than inspiring.
It's not about talent spotting any more. Agents have players in their pockets. It's about getting in with the right agents. They control the markets unfortunately
