    City scout leaving for QPR
    (UKPA)
Manchester City's head of scouting Mike Rigg is to leave the club to take up a post at QPR, Press Association Sport understands.
The move would reunite Rigg with Rangers' former City manager Mark Hughes, with whom he worked at the Etihad Stadium as well as at Blackburn and with the Wales national team.
Rigg's position at Loftus Road, it is understood, will be one of technical director and will entail a wider remit than his role with City.
The move is amicable and he will leave City with the best wishes of the club.
He is still currently working at Eastlands but is likely to move on before the end of the season.
Rigg was appointed in June 2008, the same month Hughes took office at City, and has since overseen a significant restructure of the club's international scouting network.

Saw this in the paper on Sunday, think this is a really positive step made by Hughes.

Shows that Hughes is here for the long term as he is gradually bringing alot of his trusted staff here.
