http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-25222891 Reading this article has provoked some thought. If the Scottish choose to become independent, the union flag should be changed, and rightly so. Obviously, the new version will provide much debate and although it will never affect my day to day ****, it does have an influence on things. Shall we adopt the St. George's cross? What will Australia do to their flag?

Prob just me talking **** out loud!

TBH I can't see the Scottish people going for independence but I may well be wrong but if they do we should remove the saltire from the Union Flag.

That fat slug Salmond is a total **** who wants the best of both worlds. If they want out, they want out but no more dosh from Westminster, go it alone.

And where exactly does that leave the armed forces then? Will we need a passport to cross the border?

You are right, the implications if this could be far reaching. I do not think that the pro independence lobbyists see the negatives due to being blinded by not being ruled by the English.

Apart from oil income, they'd be ****ed without us.
