Me too - but then certain clubs seem to draw certain nationalities. Scots (and Irish) used to tend to end up at Arsenal in London. Our lot were more High Wycombe for some reason! With some Irish and later UK Caribbean...
I'm not sure when Scotland annexed part of Surrey. Mackie is from Dorking. I know a guy who went to school with him, he definitely wasnât Scottish then. John Spencer was though, wasnât he?
If Surrey does turn out to be part of Scotland, you're going need to change your moniker to Rollercoaster McRanger!
Steelmonkey, my father-in-law has a mobile home up in Gourock. So we often go to or through Greenock for shopping purposes. Stopped of one day at the Cappielow to have a look around & buy a few bits from the club shop, vowed to watch a game next time I'm up there.
HE, let me know when you're up, and I'll take you along! We still wear our QPR shirts to the games - may have been away a long time, but the devotion for the Rs has never faded! Its like going to watch a game back in 60s, seats in only one stand, the rest is standing! I miss the intensity of LR, used to be in R block n bringing my boy down for his first game later this year!
And have now KO'd Belgrade and the Old Firm have crashed out. Brilliant result for Ireland's minnows but it highlights how sh*t the Scottish game has become.
That was a great result for Shamrock Rovers, that Belgrade side must have been clear favourites against the semi-pro team
They're not part-timers, but they're on relatively low weekly wages. None of them would get per year what Joey would get per week, that's for sure.
True. Themselves and Bohs are clinging on. Wages wise they'd be on a par with some Blue-Square Premier sides I would say.
Ahhh wait....Celtic may get reinstated to the Europa as Sion who beat them played ineligible players. So Scottish football is back to being just slightly ****e
Rangers will be delighted if that happens, Gloucester. Someone to represent Glasgow in Europe. For those games they may even switch allegiance.....
