What do think about Scott Sinclair? Apparently you've made a 5mill bid for him, and I will hate you all forever if you get him or Joe Allen as rumoured. Just would like to know your opinions
We have had a bit of a chat earlier and I just posted on your board, I think he's good now and will get better. I also think that you lot will laugh at 5M, I would say that you may accept 10M or more. Dyer is also good and it's the right hand side that we need, we have Downing and Bellamy for the left but on the right the options are not as good. Both would be good.
Allen is calm on the ball, keeps things moving and has great pass completion. The football at Swansea is fantastic and it would be interesting to see how some of your players would be in another team, as they are so drilled into that kind of playing that may may struggle to adapt in another team. I don't see you going down and you maybe have a chance of Europe with the run of games that are coming up. Anyway I'm biased being from the area and my kid plays for your U13's.
I like the look of Sinclair. Comfortable on the ball, good burst of pace, ability to beat a man. Plus he can take a good penalty, which puts him ahead of 95% of our squad! I think he's benefited from the time away from Chelsea, and has got to a level he probably wouldn't have had he stayed there. Rather like a prolonged loan spell. I agree that 5m won't come close to buying him though (unless his contract is due to expire soon?) By the way, I know he plays down the left, but is he left or right-footed?
So who would every one choose out of these: Scott Sinclair Nathan Dyer Junior Hoilett Marc Albrighton We have not be linked with Albrighton as far as I'm aware. I Just think he belongs in that group to.
Yeah,a style of play thats saw you score less goals than us,not win as many games as us and concede more goals than us.
In fairness mate PMK is more likely to limply roll numbers at you rather than throw them...what with him being older than Noah On topic, having watched you on Sunday can we maybe just swap squads? (minus Stevie G of course)
We are liking it here in this lofty abode, but we will need to keep our players, if we are to succeed, so I can't see our chairman letting our boys go anytime soon, and we'll not let it happen in January, that's for sure! We don't aim to be an overnight wonder, and Rodgers is committed to the long term development of our game here at Swansea.............
talking of Stevie G, how did he get the MOTM the other day when he only came on for 20 minutes, yes he scored a goal, but I watched that game (Newcastle), and Bellamy with his two goals, was robbed in my view, he should have had the MOTM, don't know who makes these decisions, but they need shooting!...........
Back in those long past days when we would play with at least one up front eh mate.......aaaah memories
Did you see Bellamys face at the end when HE had to give the champagne to Stevie G even Gerrard looked embarrassed...if you listen closely in the background you can hear the scramble to hide all the golf clubs
I think it was Alan Smith who made that call. ****ing numpty - he usually gets things more or less right, but ballsed that one up big time
