Goons are saying because he was'nt in Last night's Squad,he's joining them.We need a good centre back, would he do us?.
Moving swiftly along, what has happened to old Cress-ahem-Ridgewell? This guy is my problem: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richard_Cresswell
Wikipedia tells me he is still at Birmingham. However it doesn't tell me why no-one seems to be after him, whether he's injured etc etc. I suppose i could look all those things up, but then what is the point in discussing it on here then?
Ridgewell was alright, but nothing special. Wondering if again you've got confused as Ridgewell tended to play Lefty back with Roger Johnson Central. Johnson has no moved on to Wolves
Possibly Gio. I am very confused after all. Was Johnson better than Dann? Maybe Ridgewell stuck in my mind (not well enough to remember his name) coz he scored a winner against us. Maybe we should go back to talking about Scott Dann and i should just shut the hell up? That sounds like the best solution all round methinks
Why do we need a centre back. We've got Gallas, King, Dawson, Kaboul and Bassong; Khumalo and Caulker out on loan and Corluka or even Huddlestone can play there in an emergency, probably Walker and Sandro too. The only thing we need is a better striker.
In my opinion Johnson was better than Dann, but Dann has received interest from the bigger clubs so what do i know! I've not seen much in Dann to suggest that A) He's good enough and B) That he'd be happy being 4th/5th choice down the order. Personally I think Bassong's useless. I know people say to give him time but to me he's pony so i'd take Onuoha over him certainly but as you say Power, striker must be priority.
Birmingham fell apart after Dann got injured. Chelsea,Liverpool and Arsenal have all looked at him closely and for me out of the likes of Cahill,Jagielka and Samba he will be a better choice for us. Only problem is you do not how good a defender he really is when not playing for a team and manager that make sure you are not exposed defensively with their system and mentally.
