    Centre Midfield, which im sure is his position is our most saturated area..

    I personally feel Cabaye, Tiote and Guthrie are miles ahead of him.

    Gosling, Abeid and Vuckic would be miles ahead of him if they had the same game time.

    I dont care if he is free I'd rather give what we have a chance!

    More ****e from the papers, why would we be going for a midfield player when we have far better players in the first team / on the bench / in the reserves.

    Don't rate him as a player and think the papers are clutching at straws. We were apparently in for him last summer according to the papers.

    Defender and striker is what we'll most likly be buying next transfer window

    We could be looking for a midfielder if the fat controller sells Tiote to either Chelski or Manure if they decide to bid silly money

    Sunday Sun linked us to him in summer, and they are usually quite reliable. The idea was he would be cover but he's the sort who is great in a dressing room as we lost personalities like Nolan and Barton, as well as boosting the squad with experience. Cant see it happening after Pardew's comments about the SPL, and the fact our spirit is excellent anyway. Wouldnt be on loads of money but I think we have better young players in Abeid anyway.

    This. He'll just be another ''Smith'' but with more footballing quality, younger, more versatile(RM/CM) and probably on less wages. I wouldn't mind him but I'll rather give the likes of Abeid, Gosling and Vuckic the chance than him. Also Cabaye, Tiote and Guthrie are miles ahead of him, so he'll only be 4th choice CM at best and probably 2nd choice RM too because he isn't the quickest although his work-rate and crossing ability(sometimes) is excellent.

    For me.. a no-no unless Guthrie leaves and even then there's bound to be better options.

    Yeah we're packed in midfield. Cabaye, Tiote, Guthrie, Gosling, Santon obviously, all players who are known to play there...
