How clever is Appy? He has got my favourite loanee back to Fratton Park. Scott Allan is available to play tonight.
Scott Allan is sheer quality - could be just what we need in place of Brian Howard tonight. Means we may go with just Izale McLeod up front, or perhaps bring in Ashley Harris to play along side him ? PUP
No doubt le to55er will be here any minute to tell us that we're "cheating", ignoring the fact that the parent club are paying the wages.
You are quite right, Hermy, le to55er is a complete tw*t, who should concentrate on supporting his own team, who, lets face it, need all the help/miracles/acts of God they can get
Please no! I think he's much better, at the moment, as an impact player. Bring him on around the 60/70 minute mark, and he'll do well. He's not quite got the strength needed to start a proffessional football match. What do you think, Wooperts ?? Although Scott Allan is good- I would have loved to have signed a striker before tonight's game instead of another midfielder- an area where we already have more than enough options .. Anyway, delighted to have Allan back. Anyone know how long we've got him for, or is it just the usual one-month loan deal ?? PUP
Allan's too good for League One, so its a great signing for us. Pity Michalik gave away the penalty yesterday. I think with Allan, Buzsaky, Howard and Williamson the case could be made that Pompey have the strongest midfield in the division.
we certainly deserved at least a point at last night's game, total cop out by the referee to award the penalty, Pompey were equal to the blades for most of the game.
Apparent Maguire was going to rejoin us on loan before he got a knee injury. He'd of been a great signing as well. He's out for six weeks instead, which is a dreadful shame http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11674/8210781
Not trying to wind anyone up, but poor Mr Allen had a pretty ****ty saturday by all accounts. Sent off and then putting a guy in a coma with his car. Lets hope for everyone's sake that the guy recovers fully.
You have got it round the wrong way - he was involved in an accident on Friday night and then sent off on Saturday. He should never have been playing Saturday as his mind was obviously not on the game! He was not arrested, and it appears to be some kind of accident while reversing off of a driveway......the guy who was knocked over is still in ICU I believe. Accidents happen though and the fact that Allen waited at the scene for the police shows that this was probably just an unfortunate accident.
We are hearing that Scott Allan is keen to extend his loan stay with us. Good news, I did think he'd be straight off to Blackpool.
