I listened to the bbc sportsound podcast this morning on my way to work and traynor was talking him up. To be honest, not being a student of the scandinavian game I have no idea whether he is any good. However, i am not sure i would want celtic to throw in a new player for his debut in a game of this importance.
Just looked him up. 6 ft 1 forward with a decent scoring record and voted Player of the Year in 2011. Sounds like the sort of player we should be singing.
Surreal Dance, I think the reason Celtic released/sold/moved on about eleven players this transfer window already is because N. Lennon is happy with most of his first team players and only wants to move quality players in. Just exactly what quality they will be depends on what European League we will be playing in. Somehow I don't think a panic buying of a Scandinavian striker would match the ambitions of our fans and our board.
