http://www.theguardian.com/football/2014/apr/30/england-scotland-friendly-celtic-park-november Interesting time to do it during the season & after their Independence referendum.
I'd like it to be more regular, but aren't we already playing them in September? A once a year fixture similar to our pre season do at ferriby I'd like, I can't be arsed with it more than once a year, it would lose any sort of appeal being played too often.
You might be right. I agree with a fixture between the home nations is a good thing. I think we're also off back to Ireland to play a match. Hopefully, without the numpties who trashed Landsdown Rd that night turning up.
There's hardly anything else worth watching though is there. The league titles just a canter to the line isn't it. It may be that way for 2/3 seasons as well
Interesting. When Scotland play the ROI it is going to be like a watching Hull City with the players we have involved.
The Celtic games I have been to, their supporters are not there to watch football, just interesting in chanting and shouting abuse at the rival fans.
I have to admit they're pretty loyal. Beating St Johnstone and Stenhousemuir week after week must be mind numbingly tedious. How do they keep their interest up?
