More chance of that McInnes bloke at the wurzels getting it. McInnes and Malky both want to manage in the Premier league - only Malky has got any chance. McInnes could be heading the other way to league 1 - he'd jump ship if it was offered.
Bloody right there john, brenda doesn't know the making of the word. If Scotland were to approach your manager, he wouldn't go. He has you at the to p your game, with probably the best chance you've had of promotion. With the "talent" Scotland has, I think malk would laugh in their faces.
You cant blame Rogers for going to Liverpool. Martinez bailing to Wigan maybe. Anyone offered a massive promotion in their jobs would take it if they had any ambition. Swansea got comp whats the problem.? On Malky. I doubt Scotland can tempt him with money.
Would the Championship Manager of the Month for September relish the challenge? At least he now has the poisoned chalice to deal with for the next few games. Mind you Levein is not expecting to lose his job. He would say that wouldn't he?
I think that any serving manager would be mad to take on either the Scotland or Wales job, as the realisation of either team is, there is little or no chance of qualifying for anything.
I think the curse of the Manager of the Month may have departed with DJ, at least I hope it has. After all MM had done away with our disasterous November last year and will hopefully do it again this, and our last 10 minutes suicide missions seem to be mostly a thing of the past too. I think the curst of MoM will go the same way. And given where we are, the support he has, and where with good management we will be next year, why would he want to go to Scotland - even for a holiday and miss watching City, let alone to manage a second class team?
Moneytalks these days and MM has said he wants to manage at the top level, so I guess he's staying where he is.
as if he'd manage scotland. the big money and big reputations are forged in the PL, which he knows, with the massive financial backing he's received from the malaysians, is easily possible this season. who were the last 2 managers they had? levein was managing a middle of the road SPL team and burley a medium level championship team.... says it all. he aint going anywhere unless the approach is from the PL.
Perhaps Coyle is looking for his next appointment. When you look at it, there are a lot of Scottish managers employed south of the border (some of them half decent). You'd have thought they'd have got one to manage their national team. There are two Welsh managers in the prem, Hughes (I'd have him back, but he's been there and done that, though he might be in the market sooner rather than later) and Pulis who would struggle I think as he wouldn't have the right tools at his disposal for the style he plays. Can't think of a Welsh manager in the Championship though I'm sure some one will put me straight.
