Considering how well McGregor has been playing for us lately why don’t the Allams sign a contract with the Scottish FA to make Scotland our feeder country?

The best Scottish players like Rhodes, McCormack, Adam etc. would be encouraged to join us and in return they would get the chance to play together on a weekly basis in the Premier League.

For Scotland it would be a coup. We would be able to sign a lot of decent players and our fan base would multiply with tens of thousands of Scots wanting to get to the KC.

The only flaw might be wages with a few of the top earners, but maybe if Scotland gets independence they could use some of their North Sea oil money to subsidise that.

If it all worked out well maybe we could ditch Scotland after a few years and make Brazil our new feeder country.

In a sense Scotland has always been our feeder country, when you look back over the history of our football the numbers of Scots who have played and managed in England is phenomenal and for some unfathomable reason they can't play together very well for their country. Two colossus of the past Bill Shankley and Matt Busby got most of the their fame whilst in England as have many a player and it was Celtic who were the first 'British' team to win the old European Cup although as true to form none have won it since. But English teams, under Scottish managership, have ruled Europe for many a year. But now we have managers and players coming from all around the globe to the English game but the Scots should be proud of their achievements in England despite their pathetic national team's performances.

If we got a full side of the top Scots, would that mean we'd change our shirts to blue? <whistle>

Considering the amount of Englishmen who play for the Scotland national team, they should already be called a feeder club.

Wouldn't the Irish have an issue with us going back on the deal we have with them?

McGregor has pulled out if the Scotland squad. Hope it's just a precaution.
