Score predictions, crowds predictions, scorers etc etc Knowing the gas we will win this one, so im going with a 1-2 gas win and a goal from W.Brown with Matty H to get the winner. I think there will be about 300 gas there for this one. It will be a tight game, but hopefully Buckle would have sorted the team out from our last game. UTG
excuse my invasion of your valuable esteemed boards, but you do realise where morecambe is, and i do not mean just off the m6, i mean top of the league and deservedly so. i think you may find morecambe weigh their goals up there. i go for morecambe 4 gas 0. if i was paul buckle i would get your squad loaded up in your 1976 luxury coach and up the m5/m6 and do a spot of cockling, it may be the only fruitful reward for your long trip. oh and beware quicksands------------------------on morecambe's pitch, all home made to gobble you gas up
Welcome back AJ, I suppose you`re finished winding up the Gooners so have returned to your old haunts.
hi chris no i am not back to banter really, but i say this if gas win away at morecambe it turns L2 on its head and more importantly buckle and his squad are capable of better things than so far, with the exception of the gas fluke win over the shrews. the shrews had 80% of the play and played gas off the park and into muller road. still it is goals that count, and i suspect the league leaders will add to the gas's woes
aj is not fretting but 2nd in L2 is better than 3rd. and sorry for the mixup, still waiting for chris to explete, and i thought he was the ugly one. anyway if you get a win or a draw up there i shall be pleased and will continue to think miracles can and do happen! i would put 5 fish and 2 loaves in the clubs 1976 coach , it may bring on a miracle!!
We take every game as it comes as Jim says. This will be tougher than expected with Stanners on his return. Shrimps 1-1 Gas. Carlton.
If we did happen be on the end of another Crawley type stuffing on saturday then I will be very worried, October sees some very tough games with Cheltenham, Rotherham, Port Vale and Dagenham at home and Oxford and Burton away, Dagenham being the only team below us at the present time, even if we win on saturday don't thing it will lead to any sort of unbeaten run, I would say on our current form and performances we will be lucky to get half the 18pts that are up for grabs in these games.
A draw (a win would be great) or a losing good performance needed if we're to have a chance of a top 7 finish. Off to Manchester now, driving on to Morecambe tomorrow.
i will go along with a 2-0 win and virgo will get them both from hoofballs which bounces over the keeper. 216 in away attendance.
Underdogs my arse, Morcombe bubble will burst. Joe on the right Muzzy on the left total wing play 0-2 Gas.
Well it appeared good wing play, though Muzzy didnt play. It still makes me wonder why he doesnt get selected, and instead putting some geezer aged 37 out there when he should be up top with Matty H or Zebra, with Muzzy bursting down the wings and putting balls into the box!
3 into 2 don't go. With Harrold and McGleish fit it's Anyinsah, Zebroski and Carayol for the LM and RM spots.....unless we play 3 up front!!!! I think four of those (leave out McGleish....he's solely a striker) are interchangeable and we will see all of them play a role during the season.
