There seems to be an understandable reluctance to kick off this venture again, but there are enough players who HAVE shown interest, to start a new thread. As previously stated I will be unable to micro-manage this week's efforts, and much will be left to your own initiatives. Post your amounts on here. I will kick off with £100 as per last week. There is a small starting balance of £223 for this weekend's punt, and I'm sure that someone will be able to work out what combination is best for the pot we get. Stick is not on the selection team this week, but I seem to remember Wooley putting himself up as a reserve. I have attached a list of last week's contributors, plus LG and Donegal, who didn't in the end take part. You will see that there is a number alongside each name. If you pay in your bet, please add this number in pence to the amount. e.g Bostonbob would be (say) £50.08 and Johnboy perhaps £100.16 If someone wants to take part who wasn't in last week's effort, then they can add the next number up to their total as long as they make that clear on this thread (0.28 currently) I have a benchmark payment in the account of £3000 and now the account won't be used at all apart from Scoop6 payments. This means I can look on Saturday morning to see who has paid and who hasn't. PLEASE NOTE: I won't have unlimited time on Saturday, so I am making an 11am closing time. You will be able to see a projected total by looking at what players have pledged to bet, on this thread. Because I can't be there for 3 solid days like last week, I feel there is a good chance of it going tits up! I'd be happier if Ron was able to say he can pick up the slack ... hint, hint.

I have just paid 50.12 Reebs. I've not had access since Sunday night. Spent last evening at hospital with mother-in law. Have managed to get access today but then may not have access again until Friday evening. Not sure it's a good idea for me to take up the slack in the circumstances but if you let me know exactly what that entails Reebs I'll let you know if I can. Just a thought (but too late for this week). To avoid lots of odd pence in the kitty it might be better if references were balanced out. Eg If my ref was 50.12 one week it would be 49.88 the next (or 99.88 if the contribution was increased to £100). If someone dropped out there would be a surplus but that wouldn't matter. I haven't cross checked references but presumably the additional payment forming the reference for an individual won't be the same every time (eg £25.20)
