I don't suppose any1 else on here is playing in this tonight? if so let me know your username and il look out 4 u. wouldn't mind the 200k 1st prize lol
I'm no longer on Pstars but if you are in goodluck to ya, certainly be nice money to win. I have been contemplating putting funds back in because the software is by far alot better than anything else and i play alot of Razz and it's not very popular on Paddy Power but had a bit of a dispute over a cash-out a while back now and that's why i left there, but it is by far the best site imo. Anyway.. best of luck SB, bring it home.
Ah fair play. Iv cashed out a few times but they can arsey if you use, say Ukash, for example for a deposit. They wanted to send me a cheque for $1,050 once when i wanted it bank wired. But that aside, the withdrawals have been fine. As for the main event, i crashed out after 3.5hrs, lost two races (QQ v AK) then 77 v QJ was the killer on a board of 4 5 6 the guy put me all in. Couldnt resist the call, the jammy tw@t hit a Q on the turn and i didnt improve. If you do start on PokerStars again, let me know and we'll have to play a torny together!
I just had a look in earlier, only realised it is well after startin. Yeah, looks like he made a bad move and got very lucky there alright. Do you play high stakes generally or would you be more a recreational player SB?
No i tend to stick around the $10/$20 tournaments as that suits my bank roll better. However, i play alot of the 'bigger' advertised tournaments. such as the SCOOP main event etc. I won a satelite to the $1k buy in on the Turbo championship last year and tbh i didnt enjoy it. Even though i was free rolling, the weight of the buy in changed my play considerably. So i tend to stick to the Sunday Storm and tournaments alike. How about yourself?
Yeah it's not wise to play outside of your roll, i learned that the hard way, and i'm sure you know that given what happened in the 1k buy-in so i would have mostly played 5 - 50 dollar tournaments and 50/1 - 3/6 no limit hold 'em and played alot of 100/200 fixed limit razz when i was rolled for it, i love razz as i find it the easiest to make money as the majority of the players that play are all very bad at it. Have ya manged to score big in any of the tourney's there? Best i did was 2nd for just over 5k in the $11 re-buy, got unlucky in heads up, we both made straights on the flop, obv money went in and he had the better strait, i had 56 and he had 610 on 789 flop couldn't really get off it.
argh thats nasty! but still a great return. The best i did was 9th in a $10 Freezeout, picked up just shy of $2k, i was on such a high for making FT i called someones all in with AJ..stupid really, he had AK and i was left with a few chips lol. But in general i only NLH freezeouts, between $5-$20, with maybe one or two $100 buys in a month. I love poker so much, im contemplating player in the UKIPT when it comes to Newcastle (my nearest venue). its £770 in total , which would mean i would have to cut down online, or win a decent prize between now and sept !!
Yeah, would be good experience to play in one, ya should give it a go if at all possible, hopefully you can pick up a nice score on the virtual felt in the meantime to accomodate it.
