Hmmm, Well I know Scocco has bags of ability but if we could get all the money back, and I mean every ****ing penny, then get Borini, I'm all for. The more it looks possible to get Borini, the more desperate I am for it to happen, but it MUST be a permanent deal. Lad can become a ****ing idol here if he wants it.

****ing hope so marra, Fabio is very much next level, 3 or 4 of his calibre and we can start thinking top 1, then 1 or 2 next level and we can aim for top 7. Probs a 3 year job realistically, but the sooner we get the party started the sooner we all get pissed and start dancing!
Well, he unquestionably bonded here, he's spoke of it, he's probs not quite top 6 standard, Everton haven't the bucks, I can see us having a free run. Yeah, Italy would be an option but he has an English bird, and his Insta shows he's smitten, so I fancy this one to get over the line, and will be delighted if it does.
That would be brilliant and a clear statement of intent. I`m not building my hopes up though until I see his name on that done deal thread.
more to the point about scocco i have not seen anything about him in his brief appearances to make me want to keep him anyway a pointless exercise imo
I'm very confident me like reckon gus's discussions with ellis went along the lines of Point 1 - get me fabio Point 2 - get yer dosh oot Point 3 - are you banging maggie byrne?
There was plenty of talk about him being a very good player but obviously didn`t work out the way Gus hoped. Might be for next season but, if there`s a good offer? Can`t remember how much we paid for him. Might have been undisclosed that one.
Why did we buy Scocco to sell him this quickly? Borini in would be terrific, but Scocco seemed decent from the little I saw of him...
