How are they managing to stay within the rules whereby they, as all other League
One clubs, are only allowed a playing staff wage bill of 60% of turnover?

With attendance's around 2,000 for their home games at Northampton Town, and assuming an average ticket price of £25 per person, that means an income from gate receipts of approx £1.2 million. Plus TV money and sponsorship, let's be generous and say their total income is around £3 million.

That gives them a playing squad spend of £1.8 million. How are they managing to comply with SCMP?

They won't be is the simple answer - I believe that "punishment" happens at the end of the season (QPR also in this bracket)
