On Monday night Mark Schwarzer made his third penalty save of the season

And shortly after he made an even better save from Bobby Zamora. Today the Daily Mail ran the story that Mark’s exploits could cost the Club £500,000.

When Fulham sold Bobby Zamora to Rangers for £4million in January 2012 they negotiated a £500,000 bonus for every year QPR stayed in the Premier League during the striker’s two-and-a-half-year contract at Loftus Road.

Fulham got their cash last season as QPR staved off relegation on the last day of the campaign to finish 17th, but Monday’s west London derby defeat at Craven Cottage has left Rangers’ hopes of survival in ruins. And with it any hopes of Fulham getting a payment this year.

On the other side of the coin, the 3pts earned on Monday consolidates the Club in 10th position and hopes of rising higher. With each place up the League worth Premiership prize money of £800,000, Schwarzer’s saves may in fact be a bonus.

It's worth remembering we're a point off Swansea (this season's darlings) with a game in hand, albeit against Chelsea. This season may not turn out so terrible after all (bit of deja vu there...).

So that's why QPR played so poorly in the first half....they were trying to save money
Harry forgot to mention that excuse in his interview.
Still for every position in the Premier you gain you get more cash.

It's not our fault if QPR were so deluded with Mr Ambition.

I think even if the players were made aware of the 500K payment, it wouldn't have affected their performance. 500K is a small price to pay to see the rabble down to road fall down the divisions.
