I'm only posting this because of the interesting comment on Schwarzer's wages:

"Schwarzer, 40, has hinted he will leave Fulham when his contract expires this summer, but Sportsmail understands the Aussie is currently mulling over an offer of one more year on the same terms of around £35,000 a week."

The main feature in the article is however is that he's buying a farm, well the land really:

"Forget taking up a TV punditry role or days spent out on the golf course, Fulham goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer could be preparing to get dirty on the farm when his football career ends.

The Australia No 1 and his wife Paloma began a company called 4 Dog Farm in October last year, which is registered to a property on a former 90-acre dairy farm in Surrey. Schwarzer is listed as a Director. But he is not expected to use the land to milk cows or herd sheep after his days in the Premier League are over - the land is expected to be used for a housing development."
