The best start in F1 this season, flying past cars and debris... Like a boss.

They were HRTs,Virgins and Senna without a front wing. Nothing special, but it was a great race by Michael.

His actual start was pretty average, certainly worse than his normal ones or Rosberg's today. It was his picking his way through debris and slow cars that was very good.

Start of the season was Alonso at Barcelona.

Did I see him leaving the track and maintaining an advantage there, nothing changes he still gets away with murder. and not very difficult to get past the 6 slowest cars on the grid with one that was one of the fastest in a straight line

You see him leaving the track after he passed another driver, he was many meters ahead by the time he over-sped and cut the corner.

Yes but he left the track because he braked to late if he had braked earlier he wouldn't have passed that car, that's gaining an advantage by using more than the track isn't it.

How can you break earlier? He has the fastest car in terms of straight line speed, hitting around 320/kph, it was not deliberate.
If it was another driver such as Barrichello, I doubt you would be stating he was gaining an advantage, I doubt you would have brought it up in the first place.

Its just an observation and I think stewards let that sort of thing go on the first lap anyway, everyone jostling for position and **** happens anyway he definitely had a great race. fair play to him.

Nah I think Rosberg had the best start, his brakes were smoking like crazy to get that lead from Seb.

He was off like a rat up a drain pipe, which was amazing considering I was waiting for him to go up like a Roman candle on the grid.

rosberg's start was much better; michael had only passed 1 before the first corner and then capitalised on the comings together of the midfield which slowed the backmarkers. His other passes on lap 1 were of damaged cars, but he did drive an incredible race.
