    Oh well, looks like he's not going to finish his playing career with us after all, or start his coaching career here either. Even though he's got more chance of winning the league at the Latics next season!

    It's a shame - although does anyone know where these rumours came from in the first place? Did he ever express a desire to come to BP after retirement?

    Paul I think he hinted at it a few times.

    Oh well, I'm sure he can come over as a coach in a few years!
