I cant help but feel this is a 'personal' signing and his and Alex's relationship with the Schmeics comes into it.

 

I've thought this too as otherwise I think that LCFC wouldn't be willing to do business with us ordinarily.

 

just waiting for the "he's worth x million" comments from our leicester friends whenever he is discussed. With one year left on his contract, as has happened and is happening with players elsewhere at the moment, that is the bargaining tool which a player who wishes to leave has over the club.

Just wondering also how much difference a change in goalkeeping coach can have on a player.

 

Don't forget though, he'll cost us £10m as he is the best keeper ever to play in the Championship. Also, he loves it at Leicester City, therefore he won't want to leave and progress his career.

 

I think it'd be a similar amount, but for me Kasper is a much better keeper than Stockdale so at least you're getting more value for the same or similar money.

 

Better than stockdale though, I'd rather spend the money on kasper

you Leicester fans live away with the fairies the simple matter is schmeichel wants the move and the premier league is a massive pull over staying in the championship , compared to leicester at the minute hull city is far more of an attractive move the major stumbling block will be the two clubs doing business

Im not surprised your interested in Kasper Schmeichel as he is the best keeper in the league and IMO one of the best in the country. If I was Steve Bruce I would be more then interested in signing him. But you think 4M is too expensive for David Stockdale. Is that because you dont think he is worth it or you just dont want to spend 4M on a goalkeeper because Kasper will cost more then 4M

Also the fact you was so openly hostile towards us when we bid for Cameron Stewart doesnt help your cause. Nigel wont want to sell to you and our owners wont be in a rush to do business with you.

Your best alternative is probably Jason Steele from Boro. He is a very good keeper and will be considerably cheaper then Kasper and Stockdale

 

We've also been linked with Steele! We'll be after 2 keepers I'd expect.
