There is a thread on foxes talk slating schmeichel. Saying how poor his distribution is and how he has cost us points this season. I havent thought this at all, is this something that others on here have thought?
Apart from Barnsley first goal he hasnt cost us a goal He hasnt been as impressive as last season but thats because we heavily relied on him then. This season he has alot less to do and when thats the case the makes the easier things harder because you are rarely doing anything There is no reason to be concerned over Kasper
His kicking was off yesterday, no doubt. Plus, we're not gonna do anything from goal kicks with Vardy and Nugent up front against two 6ft+ centre halfs.
when at notts county he was amazing. like having a extra defender. allthou his kicking was a bit suspect at times. can't remember a goal that was his fault. don't think you should worry too much he prob one of the best in championship.
His distribution is normally one of his better qualities, and he often uses quick ball to release a full back. Im personally very impressed with him - dont see how that thread can start after yesterday
Bunch of moaners who have to find something to pick on- I pity the fans who do this, and I always seem to sit next to one every time I get to a game!
I would say Kasper hasn't been as good as he was last season, but I'm a million miles away from saying we need to look at this position. There's far more pressing concerns, like a striker that can score!
It was a pretty terrible season, and ha saved us losing on so many occasions, he was never going to be able to repeat that form, but agree that his performances wouldn't even be noted if we could hit the net occasionally. Big Wes is a dead cert for POTY if he can have another half season as our rock in defense.
