I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't sign one, if he has a good season again next year, he can leave for nothing, the only thing that will probably stop him leaving is if we get promoted next year.

I would not be happy if we swapped Pearson for Poyet. I dont think he'd kick up a fuss at all, but if hes approached with a chance to play 38 games in the premier league next season, it would prob be an offer he couldn't refuse. He wants to be No 1 keeper at a top club, and we can only offer him half of that. It would be selfish of us to keep him if the prem come knocking.
Personally, I don't like Poyet, I think he's a lanky gobshite. He seems to be a half decent manager, but he also seems about as good with the players and the media as Nigel is. How would you feel if the rumours on Foxestalk are true and your owners have been talking to Kenny Jackett?
Why don't you like Poyet? I think he'd be very good for us. Though have also just seen he's 3/1 favourite for the Everton job No idea how I feel about Kenny Jackett... Not overly inspired, and not sure it's worth sacking NP for Jackett. Though I know TC will be here shortly to tell me otherwise
