Kasper's out for up to 6 weeks, according to LCFC twitter feed and Stringer, broken foot. Nothing seems to be going right for us now!
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/30437583 4-6 weeks at best, presumably depends how tomorrows operation goes.
He had a good game against Villa but has also had several less than convincing performances this season, particularly where crosses in and around the 6 yard box are concerned ... time to see what Mr Hamer is made of - so far he has a 100% clean sheet record in the Prem!
Pearson's also been officially charged by the FA. Not a good time for Leicester City. I know Schmeichel's been on pretty poor form recently, but he's still probably the best goalkeeper we have at the club- we shouldn't judge Hamer on one performance. He might do well, but I can't help but be worried. At least he won't have Aguero to deal with on Saturday. Just David Silva, Edin Dzeko, Yaya Toure etc.!
Poor form? He looked very good against Villa, thought he'd done well. There's been a lot of mistakes made right in front of him, it makes clean sheets very difficult to obtain.
Whoever it was that had the "to and fro" with old Blockhead, should have gone to the training ground during the week, shook hands with him, had a photo taken or summat and then maybe have it stuck up on the Offish. So what if the Manager gave a bit of sh*t back? The fan should've come out and said he has no problem with what Pearson said. Instead he's been skulking in the shadows like a hurt teenager.
Like Pearson would agree to that... To be fair, the F.A. will probably tell Pearson that they're only doing it 'to be seen setting an example' and make him sit in the stands or something, like he already does.
History - he is arguably the best reflex shot stopper in the Prem ... but where we have suffered is from balls into and around the 6 yard box - he doesn't really like to come and claim them ... that has a knock-on effect because the defenders know he's not coming and this has led to panicky defending and some pretty awful goals conceded..
Not always been convinced by him, but he's in the best form now since he's been with us, I put it down to him having Alex McCarthy putting pressure on.
Well yeah, but I´d of liked it if KS was on the bench while he (Hamer) was & pushing for his place back in the 1st team.
Best back up keeper we have had in a long time was Paul Henderson. If all goes wrong I'm sure we can dig him out of somewhere
