Schlupp and Mahrez

We will more then likely lose both Jeff Schlupp and Riyad Mahrez for nearly all of January due to the African cup of nations.

Time for Knockaert and Albrighton to really step up

 

That is a concern as they have been our brightest and most creative. A definite opportunity for the other two. If Upson is playing by then and we have stopped leaking so many this could be the area we see Nige strengthening first.

 

Doubt Schlupp will go. They didn't choose him for their World Cup squad.

 

Good point, forgot that was on. Like you say, time for others to step up.

 

We may well see some of Tom Lawrence, who sounds like he's been playing well for U21s, but agreed, these two will be big losses. We should try and loan someone, though I have no idea who! We should have tried to go in for Bojan like Stoke did, can't believe they got him for £2 million! Quality player!

 

Perhaps we could beg them to take him.
