I said schism, not jism by the way

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-47278902
    https://www.independent.co.uk/news/...iana-berger-brexit-chuka-umunna-a8784186.html

Seven MPs have resigned from the Labour Party in protest at Jeremy Corbyn's approach to Brexit and anti-Semitism.
They are: Chuka Umunna, Luciana Berger, Chris Leslie, Angela Smith, Mike Gapes, Gavin Shuker and Ann Coffey.
Ms Berger said Labour had become institutionally anti-Semitic and she was "embarrassed and ashamed" to stay.
Mr Corbyn said he was "disappointed" the MPs had felt unable to continue working for the policies that "inspired millions" at the 2017 election.
The MPs are not launching a new political party - they will sit in Parliament as the Independent Group.

A credible Opposition is required to keep the Tory civil war in check, sadly, we are living with the worst political class in British political history.

Hopefully, wee Nikla can fire a car park tax at them and tell them BREXIT MEANS BREXIT

Corbyn has the the equivalent of an open goal a yard out and not only has he missed, he's booted it out for a throw in.

He could win a general election if he were to support a 2nd referendum/people's vote, looks like he does not want to be PM.

    Sounds like QPR against Twatford.

With no replays in this season's fifth-round ties, QPR captain Toni Leistner spurned a great chance to force extra-time at Loftus Road when he missed from point-blank range after Darnell Furlong's cross in the closing stages.

Still, at least we can concentrate on the league now. <wah><wah>

    Lol

He put an amendment forward that included a 2nd vote as an option and the "Tory Rebels" voted it down

The current remain party are also sitting around 8-10% in the polls

Looks less open goal are more catenaccio defence

I'm talking about Labour Party policy. He could do that easily, that's why his MPs are chucking it, because he won't.

Not sure why they’re chucking it tbh.

But say hi to another 20 years of minimum wage jobs, zero hours contracts, homelessness, bankrupt schools and hospitals, food banks, and private investors interests driving public services, while these ****s split the Labour Party to pursue their own careers.

Labour Party Policy is agreed by members democratically.

The first step was a GE

The ones leaving seem to forget that

Yep, and it seems to me there would be a landslide of Labour Party members who would vote to change the policy. All he has to do is propose it.

What makes you think having a policy to remain in the EU would put Labour into government?
