Sincerely, PayPaI Support Anyone fooled by this sort of effort really deserves to be scammed. Why don’t scammers employ someone with a more than a Chippy level of English grammar. If they did they may even be more successful.
That's Carp. My wife had one the other day though that I thought was very very convincing. Supposedly from amazon. I loads of training at work to spot phishing emails which helps but this particular mail I could really see catching some people out.
Generally scams need about 1 person in million to fall for it to be profitable. If they can't spell the email correctly, that one person in a million won't even fall for it.
Got a text from a bank I don't use telling me my Norwegian identity number was being used to open an account. Wanted me to log into a site and I thought that was suspicious. Called them, it was a scam.
The worst ones are those where you only have to open the email and copy the text to show your mates on the internet and it adds a virus to your computer via your clipboard.
