Being someone who is very vocal on traditions and against modern football. I can only say well done Mr Chairman for a good gesture.

It is great news don't get me wrong, although i wonder just how many more that will attract.

The thing that annoys me a bit though is that as season ticket holders, we should in theory be getting the best possible deals, whereas I feel we're deemed more as the backbone of the turnover for the club that will always sustain, which is true i personally will always have a season ticket, but never the less it seems a bit unfair.

Whilst I understand your point about season ticket holders (I am one) the price per game with guaranteed seat is still better than buying individual tickets, I just hope that now PDS has listened to supporters grievances and tried to correct one of the gripes, fans respond in a positive manner and encourage further promotions in the future.

It is unfortunate that this announcement came a couple of days before such a poor performance at home, as I doubt that many people who come to matches occasionally will be likely to come back soon to take advantage of the reduced match day prices.
I think that GFC should however have reduced the prices in the Brian Moore Stand for U18s as the price there is £10 which is the same as in other stands. I think that the 12-17 age group would perhaps be a group who would take advantage of this if the prices were cheaper.

Something i would like to see changed in our ticketing, is when are we going to dispense in part with match day ticket stubs (excluding ST Vouchers). As we have access for online ticketing purchasing, why are we unable to print match day tickets, avoiding having to go to the ticket office, queues and also avoiding admin costs. What happens is you are registered on the site, your purchase triggers an automated email which includes a bar code and you just take the printed email to the turnstile. It really is that simple. Mr Chairman if you need more info on this type of transaction contact me :)

Oh just thought...you will need to spend out on hand held bar code scanners...Oops...cash flow and all that stuff.
