I know I will be lambasted for this, BUT I have been a Gills supporter for over 60 years and if it was not for PS bailing out the club when he did, we would not exist. So for the grace we go, he is maybe for his own profit or loss after all the years. Looking to offload the club but seems to be making sure it is someone who will continue to look after it, and for our sake, the supporters, to still have a club to follow. Financially running a business is not easy, profits have to be made to meet expenses, so budgets are set to compensate. A small profit keeps things moving, a small loss drops to losing everything, so you have to understand, how tight things are. No one can continue to put amounts of cash into a failing business, and we are, we have been struggling for a number of years. Maybe with the new gaffer and this season being fruitful, we can bounce back. But we will need to sustain, that takes money/Investment. We have the greatest football league system on the planet, the toughest, look at Div 1 how hard is it to get to the Championship, what a battle to stave off dropping to Div 2, we showed that in our last games. Three games into the new season and we have won 2 and lost 1. Please stay calm and faithful to what we have and support, hopefully for many more years to come. Keep the faith and support UPPPP THE GILLLLSSSSSSS
Good morning Lenny, only just seen your thread, good timing as it happens, as I was having a browse through twitter, to see what's occurring in the world of social media, and happened to stumble on this just now... https://talksport.com/football/efl/1169018/simon-jordan-gillingham-paul-scally/
