Excellent....thank you.
About 5 minutes away in the car for me.

You two are building models and yet paying £70 to service a lawnmower FFS .
Do them yourselves and save yourselves money ;)
Wouldn't know where to start Nig. I can put petrol and oil in.....that's about it.

I bet there are videos on YouTube mate.
If you can build models, set up tranciever radios and put petrol and oil in the mower, you can service it mate ;)
And still come out of it with 8 fingers and two thumbs?

There you go mate, piece of pìss.
I would drop some 3 in 1 oil etc down the top of cable outers and grease some parts too but it'll save you a few bob.
If it's 2 stroke you won't even have to change the oil :D

basically two things go wrong with petrol mowers...spark plug is a main one and then the need to clean the carb, was ready to chuck mine and get a new one but decided to give it one last go, can of WD40 with the straw in and blow the 'holes' through.

need to remove the carb of course but usually two bolts does it, i am as cack-handed and impatiant as a man can get these days but i managed.

PS: using old petrol is what clogs the carbs apparently, i used to fill my green container and that did all my mower needs for the season so think leaving the fuel in for so long caused my problems. (would start and run for a few seconds and cut out)

just never leave your petrol in over winter mate, especially if it’s 2 stroke, just let it run out on your last cut. Then it will be fine the following spring <ok>

You can buy pure petrol mix for 2 stroke but expensive at about £20 a gallon .
But it doesn't go off.
Otherwise buy tesco momentum or shell optimax for 2 stroke or 4 stroke.
E10 petrol will fook up rubber seals or plastic parts.

The good old days of brass, copper and decent petrol are behind us thanks to liberal wànkers.

Ethanol in petrol (e10) absorbes water.
It's shìt.
Look at your cars mpg, it will have reduced and all them plastic parts don't like it ;)

Hoying another model up.
This was my next one, a Tamiya 1/48 F15-C Eagle.
Was a bit bigger than i expected, but really enjoyed doing this one.....£20 well spent. The pilot and the wheels were hand painted, everything else was airbrushed.

Main fuselage and wings assembled and first coat of primer.
