I notice on the East Stand there was scaffolding on the top. It was more noticeable from the outside of the stadium, but you could see it from the inside of the stadium on the edge of the underneath of East Stand roof. Anyone know why?
Upgrade work on the stadium's floodlight system taking place.... Supporters visiting the KC Stadium Ticket Office, the stadium’s Tiger Leisure store and Club reception are advised that the road and parking spaces immediately outside will close intermittently between now and July. The road around the stadium bowl will be closed on the East Stand side of the ground at certain times in order to allow a safe zone for an extensive upgrade of the stadium’s floodlight system to take place. Alternative parking during such times is available in the stadium’s South Stand car park (see map below). The road is expected to intermittently close until July. Please note that the road and parking bays will be open on matchdays for those with relevant matchday parking permits. http://www.hullcitytigers.com/news/...d-until-july-2263230.aspx#ccGlmzJGWKFty2rw.99
Without reading everybody's response on this thread - I think it's the lighting being sorted. It seemed to be that when I drove past on Saturday on the way to the Etihad.
While they're at it, can someone ask them to fix the North Stand speakers?!! They've been cutting out for about 2-3 months now - great when Steve Jordan is on the mic, but very annoying the rest of the time.
I got offered the chance to work on the lighting project at the KC- agency said it would be 4/5 month contract. (DISCLAIMER: As a rule, anything spoken by an agency should be taken with a pinch of salt)
