Not surprised - he probably had a quick look here, OTIB and Twitter (he'd never admit it of course) and saw what was coming his way. Also looked like a man who has finally accepted that the group isn't going to get us where we want to go as it is. I think January can't come soon enough for SC and SL would be mad not to give him the funding to get what we need but, it is going to cost...
I've got a feeling that he may walk like the previous version of SC. As I have been saying for years there is something rotten down in BS3 that precludes us from going anywhere and for yet another manager to be in this predicament becomes a fete accompli. Someone once said that stupidity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. Duh.
