The campaign has raised over a £1,000 in just under a week. Both Amber Nectar and Facebook have a link to the campaign's paypal account for those that wish to donate. The campaign is now on Facebook. https://www.facebook.com/NoToHullTigers?hc_location=stream Looking forward to my trip on Tiger Travel and seeing an old friend at the match.
Obi, well done again for playing such a big part in pulling things together, and a big pat on the back to all those that put practical effort in so that the rest of us have an easier ride. Will there be an opportunity for cash donations, especially at the ground? Is there another way to catch those that don't use pc's? Perhaps the local media could mention the fund?
Obviously people are free to donate or not as they see fit and as finances allow. One way to see it is, if an old mate came into pub while you're at the bar, would you buy him a pint? I would. So, City's that old mate and donating the price of a pint (or more) is a symbolic gesture if nothing else.
Visual protests would be best IMO, but this protest would have to be noticed & promoted by the media, both local & national, same as Man Utd, otherwise no one outside of Hull would understand why everyone's suddenly wearing blue scarves .
I'd only just bought a new one but threw it away after the defeat t'other night. I'm going back to Man U, knew i shouldnt of changed
I've got blue eyes and a couple of blue veins, I was made to be a blue. And forever blue I will be! Traitor.
If you wear blue and white for the Huddersfield/Chelsea/Everton games won't the stewards remove people and put them into the away end. Thought that was now policy at the KC Stadium. Only those supporting City allowed in the home crowd.
Actually not a bad question......if we were to raise 10k or something like that, what would it be used for? Is there some defined and agreed plan on this yet? Or are people just donating money to a cause with no real plan?
Yes I would, but i wouldn't put money into a plain tin some stranger shakes under my nose. Will there be transparency on where this money ends up?
Think they are bringing in some accountants to look after the funds. Hinchliffe and Buchanan. Might not be very reliable but they understand the history of the club.
