Simply put. If the bottom 4 were any good, we would be in some trouble. Wolves only won due to sending off and Bolton, Blackburn, Wigan can't put a run together. We have picked up 1 point in 4 games and it has hardly made a difference. That luck cannot last and we need some points in our next two games.
With our pathetic manager's selection and tactics, there are NO saving graces and as you say Northern, thank god there are worse teams than us in the PL That being so, I feel sorry for their fans
Unlucky Stoke. Martin Atkinson screws us over again. First half was terrible from both teams. 2nd half we were the better team. Great effort considering we were down to ten men. Whelan was Man of the Match.
I dont think the selection matters that much because to be fair we havent got a top class midfield! However, Walters is fooked and out of form so why play him? For me Shotton on the right, Pennant on the left. No Delap and palacious in the middle! That would have been my team and probably our best XI given injuries, form and tiredness!
It was good Jerome started, a shame he had to go off so early. Any news on that? Would have been good to see Shotton on as you said, and Palacios. He'll be back when the sun comes out though.
