Just watched this on line and their predictions both have QPR and Villa being relegated, with Wigan or Reading as the other team to go down. I've just downloaded the PL fixtures for the remainder of the season and I wonder if the result of Wigan V Villa on the last day decide which one of those two go down?? Robbie did remind us that he predicted Villa to go down at the start of the season. Mind you, who can forget him ambling off at CR resulting in the referee adding the extra time on for Jackson to get THAT goal!!!!
I'm pleasantly surprised we are not in it. You never know with the motd crew Actually Hanson said we played well on saturday That villa Wigan game on the final day is very tasty!
Savage also changed his mind a few weeks ago and said Villa would be "absolutely fine" on the back of one good performance against Liverpool that no doubt he'll remind us of should they manage to stay up. Ah, you gotta love our "expert" pundits, milking the taxpayer, hedging their bets and changing their mind like the wind
The irony - and my biggest bugbear, is how much they're paid considering how poor their punditry/analysis is But, hey ho, we've said this so many times before. The BBC must be the only people on the planet "happy" with these dickhead's input?
I'm going to try to ignore relegation predictions, there are teams picking up and dropping points all over the bottom of the table, including teams we assumed to of been dead and buried a couple of weeks ago.
The relegation fight is,IMO.the most interesting feature of the league.Let's face it if United pull away from Ci£y by a couple more points now the top is pretty much sorted.Of course another team could be drawn in but it's looking like the bottom five now, maybe four even.Still enough to take it to the end though.
Tony - "Savage also changed his mind a few weeks ago and said Villa would be "absolutely fine" on the back of one good performance against Liverpool that no doubt he'll remind us of should they manage to stay up. I can't see how QPR can escape this time, as to do so they would have to go on an amazing winning sequence and teams above them the opposite. I'm fairly confident that we'll stay up, but I'd like to see us get a few wins on the board by the end of March -these 0-0 draws aren't good for my 'dicky ticker'!!!! IMO, 36 points and above will see teams safe this year, but the sooner we're above that, the better. There's a lot of football to be played before the 19th of May and it only takes an injury or a sending off to disrupt a lot of teams
