I do not like Saturdays in the season when City are not playing.
Those dreadful "International" weeks or if we have been knocked out of the FA Cup are bad enough.

But when we are the only team not playing until Sunday, I lose that great feeling of watching the scores come in from all the other teams in our league. Are their goals helping or hindering us? A sense of togetherness with the rest of the football community!

And of course, no reasonable argument to my wife, against going shopping or an extra long country walk with her and our dog. I hate Saturdays without City.

Is that when they invade the pitch or become horse punchers?

My wife's gone to Ladies day at Bath races so home alone!!

Will watch Jeff Stelling this afternoon (and a bit of cricket - if I can bear it)

Late am spoilt for choice - At the Races (Bath) / Speedway GP on Eurosport / Everton v Chelsea

Would still rather be at Ashton gate though!!

If I wanted to see bad non league football I'd head down to the local park.
